We are pleased to offer SweetGeorgia Yarns to our customers.  If you've never knit or crocheted with this yarn, you are in for a treat. Under dyer Felicia Lo Wong's leadership, SweetGeorgia has been making exquisite hand-dyed knitting yarns in passionate, relentless, and unapologetic colours to inspire, educate, and engage knitters, spinners, weavers, and makers all over the world.  

We chose a non-superwash BFL and silk base to add to our selection of yarns to choose in the shop.  

Lofty Bluefaced Leicester with a blend of silk makes for a decadent yarn with stunning stitch definition. This soft yarn has just a hint of sheen and a gentle twist, making it a fabulous yarn for sweaters and accessories.  Colors are dyed beautifully in a semi-solid tonal way.

*75% bluefaced leicester, 25% silk

*247 yards / 226 m per 3.5oz / 100g skein

*US 5-6 (3.75-4 mm) | 5.5 sts/1″

    This is a wonderful yarn that knits up beautifully. 2 drawbacks: It is hand-dyed in lots of 4. I needed 6 to make a women's medium long sleeve sweater. I wish it were available in solid colors.
