Just Right! Bed Pillows are filled with lucious wool that creates a warm and snug environment for a heavenly sleep! Just Right! pillows are covered with 100% cotton muslin fabric. And we know where our wool comes from and how it is processed. Our pillows are hand-stuffed with wool from local sheep farms in New York State. Each pillow is firmly stuffed by hand. The pillows come with a zipper closure allowing you to adjust the amount of wool to make it perfect for you! If you want a thinner pillow, you can remove some of the wool and make it as thin as you like. Save any wool you remove for later use as the wool tends to settle over time.
It matters how the wool is processed. We clean the wool without the use of harsh chemicals and pesticides - it's better for you and the environment. Our wool is scoured using only Biosoft soap - a biodegradable soap - and hot water. We do our best to get as much plant material out of the wool as possible in the washing and picking process, but because we don't use harsh chemicals to break up the plant fiber, you may find small pieces of it in the wool.
Compression: The wool batting does compress with use and will reduce by about 1/3. That's why we fill our pillows with lots of wool.
Why wool? It's a natural fit! The attributes of wool fiber makes it ideal for pillows. Wool breathes and absorbs moisture from the air, keeping you warm in winter and cool in summer. This amazing natural heating and cooling system keeps the humidity level low in your pillow which keeps out dust mites. Dust mites seek warm and moist environments, which they don't find in wool. Wool's microscopic bristles also resist germs and bacteria making wool a natural anti-microbial and anti-bacterial fiber. Plus wool fiber is naturally fire resistant, ensuring a safe sleeping environment without the use of fire retardant chemicals.
Zippers allow for easy care covers: Wool lasts a long, long time. All of our pillows contain a zipper closure on one end to easily allow you to remove the wool and wash the cover. The pillow cover can be machine washed in luke warm water and air or machine dried on low heat. While you wash the outer cover, lay the wool in the sun for a few minutes. The sun will evaporate any moisture on the wool helping to clean the wool. Never put the wool batting in the washing machine - it will felt.
We know where our wool comes from - and you should too! We support local farms and businesses and source our wool from sheep farms in New York State. The wool in our Just Right Bed Pillows comes from the Kyle Farm, a third-generation farm family near Rochester, NY. The Kyle and Hatch famillies have been raising sheep for over 30 years and are dedicated to taking great care of their sheep and the land they graze. The wool is shorn by experienced and gentle shearers three times/year. This creates great wool fill for pillows because the fibers are short and dense. We only use Kyle Farm wool in our pillows to ensure consistency in the batting.

This pillow is wonderful! I have tried so many pillows unsuccessfully. This one is blissfully cushy, but still supportive. I love that I can adjust the amount of wool inside.
I'm so impressed by the quality and how comfortable these pillows are! Definitely would purchase again.
Nice and clean, just as expected, feels like I am snuggling up to a sheep at night, but no bad smell. I was looking for a soft pillow because my ears hurt when I sleep too long on one side. I'm not sure this pillow will solve that problem, but maybe it would help to remove some of the wool from the pillow. One suggestion would be to put a sticker on the outside of the box that warns you to open it carefully. I almost slashed the pillow with an Xacto knife by accident!
I absolutely love these pillows. They are so wonderful to sleep on that I look forward to going to bed each evening. The pillows arrived quickly and were just as described on the website. I am so very pleased. I'm not sure if it is the pillows or if I am just sleeping better, but I have not heard my husband snore since purchasing these. I have tried every kind of pillow in the past from goose down which I loved except for the fluffing all the time, to memory foam, and everything in between. In my opinion the wool filling is better than anything I have tried in the past. I plan on purchasing more in the future for other family members. I love to support small business too!
Finally found the perfect pillow! Was looking for a natural pillow and glad I came across this one. I took one layer of wool out to customize it. Will add it back if needed in the future. I sleep a lot better! Love that it uses America Wool and American made. What’s not to love!
This pillow is so soft, yet so firm! I have been using it for a couple of weeks now and am already planning on purchasing more. I would recommend this pillow to anyone who is looking for a natural pillow at an excellent cost.
I received my pillow just a couple of days ago, and I think it is one of the best purchases I have made. The wool is soft yet firm, and really supports my neck. The pillow is a bit plump at first, but now is pressed down just right. I still can't believe the price and quality, AND it's made in the USA!!! I like that family farms created this product. I will buy more pillows soon!
I am so happy with my purchase and the overall shopping experience! Pillows arrived in a timely manner, as advertised, and have been so comfortable so far. The quality is excellent and I intend to be a customer for life :)
I am so happy to have a pillow with natural fiber filling. While I'm all for recycling plastic, sleeping on shredded plastic bottles is something I choose not to do! Thank you for offering this product.
