We love LolaBean Yarn Co!  Adella Colvin is the founder and dyer of LolaBean Yarn Co. which she named after her precocious daughter Lola.

Adella's yarns are rich and true to color and beautiful to hold and we have three bases:

Bean Sprout is a 2 ply fingering weight in 80% Superwash Merino/20% Nylon, 400 Yards, 100g

Soy Bean is a 4 ply DK Weight 100% Superwash Merino, 231 yards, 100 g

Navy Bean is a 2 ply Fingering Weight 100% Superwash Merino, 400 yards, 100g

String Bean is a 4 ply Fingering Weight 75% Superwash Merino/25% Nylon; 463 yards, 100 g

To select a yarn, first pick the base you want, then click on the colors displayed and that color will appear where the LolaBean logo is.  If there is a line through the thumbnail picture and it does not come up on the main logo picture - it is out of stock.

    Project is in process and am working on Joji’s Arco Iris pullover. Great yarn very soft and easy to knit with. I am just breezing along with this soft yarn.,

    I ordered 4 skeins of LolaBean yarn, 3 fingering and one DK. I haven't worked with them yet, but they are very pretty and soft! I will definitely order more. Hopefully I'll catch a re-stock early.

    This yarn is so beautiful. I feel the love put into it. The purples, pinks, and the multicolored speckles are to die for... not to mention how soft the yarn is. This is the perfect colorway on a beautiful base. Works up wonderfully. No pooling

    I’ve heard amazing things about Lolabean’s yarns, but this exceeded my expectations. The yarn is strong yet soft, and I’ve had no pilling at all thus far. And the color! Oh, the color! I’m usually not a huge fan of bright yarn colors, but this dye lot is so elegant and beautiful. I’m so excited to work it up!

    La Playa Colorway on String Bean

    I recently purchased a skein of LolaBean Yarn Co's La Playa on the superwash merino/nylon base String Bean, and I love it! I had been following LolaBean Yarn Co. for a while and admiring the colors, so I was happy to get the chance to purchase a skein to make a hat as a gift for someone. The colors are so vivid, and just seeing them on a computer screen doesn't do them any justice. They're so beautiful! And working with the yarn itself has been such a treat. If you can, definitely treat yourself to some LolaBean yarn! It's more than worth it!
