O Rhinebeck, We Miss You! is the name of our special colorway for the NYS Sheep and Wool Festival 2020. These colors show what Rhinebeck looks like in all its fall glory! We wanted to come up with a colorway that evokes the vibrant fall colors you see when you visit Rhinebeck in the fall. While we can go in person this year, we wanted you to have some of that color to bring home to you. And in the spirit of caring for each other we are donating a portion of the proceeds to support victims of the enormous wildfires out west.
We dyed our 'O Rhinebeck, We Miss You!' colorway on our Yarn Baby base of superwash merino base. Kelly Shultes dyed them using 6 different colors to obtain the shading of all the autumnal colors we were looking for. We think you'll love it!
We have this colorway in several yarn bases:
2 oz fingering weight - 280 yards
4 oz fingering weight - 560 yards
8 oz fingering weight - 1120 yards
4 oz worsted weight - 280 yards
8 oz worsted weight - 560 yards
8 oz super bulky - 188 yards
4 oz sock yarn - 490 yards
Care: Hand wash, dry flat.
** PLEASE NOTE **
The colors in this yarn are deep and saturated. There may be some release of color in the first few washings. It should be washed by itself. We do not recommend knitting this color with white.
We are supporting two organizations that are helping victims of the wildfires out west where over 4 million acres have burned. We will be donating $3 for every 2 or 4 oz skein of yarn and $5 for each 8 oz skein of yarn split between these two organizations. Recovering from the wild fires is a long process and the people and animals recovering, need support.
