This listing is for one pound of lightly carded wool that is great for stuffing. It can be pulled apart easily. Wool is a wonderful all natural fill material that's sustainable, renewable and biodegradable. 

Wool also has characteristics that are beneficial.  Because wool absorbs moisture, it keeps the area dry and dust mites don't like it.  Dust mites want a moist and warm environment so they naturally stay away from wool. Due to its inner core of moisture, wool is considered fire retardant and won't burn easily.

Is wool filling cheaper than plastic fill material such as polyester fill or 'alternative down'?  No, but it's better for you and the planet.  Polyester filling takes hundreds of years to decompose and creates micro-plastics that pollute oceans and the environment. When wool is buried, microbes produce enzymes that digest the fiber, breaking it down into natural elements like nitrogen, sulfur, and magnesium in 3-6 months.

    At the recommendation of a lady from Cece's I spoke with, I ordered both the wool batting & stuffing. I made a bed for my dog & needless to say, she loves it! Both the service & product were/are the best! I actually received enough to do two beds so extremely pleased! Highly recommend Cece's!!!
