We fill our Bed Pillows with luscious wool that creates a warm and comfortable sleep environment.  CeCe's Wool pillows with organic fabric covers make a perfect combination for people who want a natural pillow created without the use of pesticides or chemicals.  We know where our wool comes from and how it is processed.  Our cotton fabric is GOTS certified and grown and milled in the USA. 

Our pillows are hand-stuffed with wool from local sheep farms in New York State.  Each pillow comes firmly stuffed.  The pillows come with a zipper closure allowing you to adjust the amount of wool to make it perfect for you!  If you want a thinner pillow, you can remove some of the wool and make it as thin as you like.  Save the wool for later and add it if the wool settles.

It matters how the wool is processed.  We clean the wool without the use of harsh chemicals and pesticides.  Our wool is scoured using only Biosoft soap - a biodegradable soap - and hot water.  We do our best to get as much plant material out of the wool as possible in the washing and picking process, but because we don't use harsh chemicals to break up the plant fiber, you may find small pieces of it in the wool.  

Compression:  The wool batting does compress with use and will reduce by about 1/3.  That's why we fill our pillows with lots of wool and allow you access to the wool through the zipper.  You can add and subtract wool to fit your sleeping habits.  

Why wool?  It's a natural fit! The attributes of wool fiber makes it ideal for pillows.  Wool breathes and absorbs moisture from the air, keeping you warm in winter and cool in summer. This amazing natural heating and cooling system keeps the humidity level low in your pillow which keeps out dust mites.  Dust mites seek warm and moist environments, which they don't find in wool.  Wool's microscopic bristles also resist germs and bacteria making wool a natural anti-microbial and anti-bacterial fiber.  Plus wool fiber is naturally fire resistant, ensuring a safe sleeping environment without the use of fire retardant chemicals.

Zippers allow for easy care covers:  Wool lasts a long, long time.  All of our pillows contain a zipper closure on one end to easily allow you to remove the wool and wash the cover.  The pillow cover can be machine washed in warm water and air or machine dried on low heat.  While you wash the outer cover, lay the wool in the sun for a few minutes.  The sun will evaporate any moisture on the wool helping to clean the wool.  Never put the wool batting in the washing machine - it will felt.

Who Makes Our Pillows?  Our pillows are proudly sewn and stuffed at a not-for-profit work center in Herkimer, NY.  The work they do supports programs and services for people with developmental disabilities.

Shipping

Most of our shipping rates are based on weight. On larger, more expensive items we set a flat rate to cover their special shipping and handling needs. Shipping costs are not negotiable.

Additional shipping is charged for Alaska, Hawaii and Canada. If you ship to any of these areas, please send an email to ceceswoolwholesale@gmail.com and we will let you know what the additional charges will be based on what you are purchasing.   

We ship our items as cheaply as possible, which means we squeeze them in as small a box as possible. We use USPS or UPS. Most of our large items are shipped UPS, which is why we require a street address for large items like pillows and pet beds. If multiple items are combined, the shipping is not always accurate. Any shipping overages will be refunded.
