What's in our Wool Filled Bed Pillows? Each standard size pillow is filled with two pounds of wool from domestic sheep farms. With a natural Wool Filled Bed Pillows, you'll enjoy a better sleeping environment while supporting domestic sheep farms and small businesses.
The sheep are gently sheared by experienced shearers on the farm. After cleaning, the wool is picked and carded. At the mill we make a fluffy wool batting that works well in pillows. While the cleaning and carding removes the vast majority of hay, you may find an occasional piece of plant material in the wool.
We fill our standard size Bed Pillows with 2 lbs of our wooly batting, which creates a warm and comfortable sleeping environment.
We use only GOTS certified organic cotton muslin fabric for the pillow covers which close with a zipper. It makes a perfect combination for people who want a natural pillow created without the use of pesticides or chemicals. The zipper allows you to adjust the fill to make the perfect sleeping pillow to fit your needs.

Why wool?
Wool is better for the environment. Wool is a natural protein based fiber that is biodegradable and can be composted at the end of its life. It breaks down in soil or water and slowly releases nutrients back into the environment and its microfibers do not harm aquatic life.
No harsh chemicals. We clean the wool without the use of harsh chemicals and pesticides. Our wool is scoured using a biodegradable soap and hot water. Because we don't use harsh chemicals to break up the plant matter and the sheep are housed inside a barn in the winter, you will find small pieces of hay in the wool.
Dust mites hate wool. The attributes of wool fiber makes it ideal for pillows. Wool breathes and absorbs moisture from the air, keeping you warm in winter and cool in summer. This amazing natural heating and cooling system keeps the humidity level low in your pillow which keeps out dust mites. Dust mites seek warm and moist environments, which they can't find in wool. Wool's microscopic bristles also resist germs and bacteria, making wool a natural anti-microbial and anti-bacterial fiber. Wool fiber is naturally fire resistant, ensuring a safe sleeping environment without the use of fire retardant chemicals.
Care for your wool pillow: Wool can last a long, long time. All of our pillows contain a zipper closure on one end to easily allow you to remove the wool and wash the cover. The pillow cover can be machine washed in warm water and air dried or machine dried on low heat. While you wash the outer cover, lay the wool in the sun for a few minutes. The sun will evaporate any moisture on the wool helping to clean the wool. Never put the wool batting in the washing machine - it will felt and your washing machine will not like it.
Our Guarantee: We are confident you will love your pillow. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, return within 30 days and we will refund your payment. If you purchase more than one pillow, orders are combined and any shipping overage will be refunded.
Shipping
Most of our shipping rates are based on weight. On larger, more expensive items we set a flat rate to cover their special shipping and handling needs.
Additional shipping is charged for Alaska, Hawaii and Canada. If you ship to any of these areas, please send an email to ceceswoolwholesale@gmail.com and we will let you know what the additional charges will be based on what you are purchasing.
We ship our items as cheaply as possible, which means we squeeze them in as small a box as possible. We use UPS for most of our pillow orders, which is why we need a street address. If multiple items are combined, the shipping is not always accurate. Any shipping overages will be refunded.

Wool bed pillows
Wool pillows are amazing! So comfy and the perfect way to relax before falling asleep. I am so happy to have a natural pillow instead of a synthetic chemical laden foam product. This pillow does not disappoint!

Wool Pillow
Overall it is a nice pillow and the main reason I bought it is because it is sustainable. I just wish it wasn't so high.

Love it!
I may have found my unicorn with this pillow! I get migraines from pillows that don't support my neck enough, AND from pillows that get warm under my head, and this pillow seems to do well in both ways. I didn't even realize I still wasn't getting good sleep with my buckwheat pillow until I tried this one. And it's also a whole lot lighter to bring with me traveling.

Best. Pillow. Ever.
I've been trying for years to find a good pillow – one that is firm but not excessively so, support but soft – and here it is! The miracle of natural fibers and wool once again comes to my rescue. Couldn't be happier. Well, wish I'd ordered two instead of just the one.

Best Pillow ever
It has been a month, and I still love this pillow. My arms do not go to sleep when I put them under the pillow. All the pillows I have bought total way more than this pillow. The cat likes it too.
