We fill our Bed Pillows with luscious wool from domestic sheep farms in the US. Wool creates a warm and comfortable sleep environment. We sew our pillows covers with organic fabric that is GOTS certified. Our pillows provide a perfect combination for people who want a natural pillow created without the use of pesticides or chemicals.
Each pillow comes firmly stuffed and has a zipper closure allowing you to adjust the amount of wool to make it perfect for you! If you want a thinner pillow, you can remove some of the wool and make it as thin as you like. Save the wool for later and add it if the wool settles.
It matters how the wool is processed. We clean the wool without the use of harsh chemicals and pesticides. Our wool is scoured using only Biosoft soap - a biodegradable soap - and hot water. We do our best to get as much plant material out of the wool as possible in the washing and picking process, but because we don't use harsh chemicals to break up the plant fiber you may find small pieces of it in the wool.
Compression: The wool batting does compress with use and will reduce by about 1/3. That's why we fill our pillows with lots of wool and allow you access to the wool with the zipper closure. You can add and subtract wool to fit your sleeping habits.
Why wool? It's a natural fit! The attributes of wool fiber makes it ideal for pillows. Wool breathes and absorbs moisture from the air, keeping you warm in winter and cool in summer. This amazing natural heating and cooling system keeps the humidity level low in your pillow which keeps out dust mites. Dust mites seek warm and moist environments, which they don't find in wool. Wool's microscopic bristles also resist germs and bacteria making wool a natural anti-microbial and anti-bacterial fiber. Plus wool fiber is naturally fire resistant, ensuring a safe sleeping environment without the use of fire retardant chemicals.
Zippers allow for easy care covers: Wool lasts a long, long time. All of our pillows contain a zipper closure on one end to easily allow you to remove the wool and wash the cover. The pillow cover can be machine washed in warm water and air or machine dried on low heat. While you wash the outer cover, lay the wool in the sun for a few minutes. The sun will evaporate any moisture on the wool helping to clean the wool. Never put the wool batting in the washing machine - it will felt.

Wool pillow
Good product, but a little bit too hard. Yes, you can remove wool from inside to make it less supportive, but this is a firm pillow, compared to traditional goose pillows.

Exceeded expectations
I have only been using this for a few days but so far I really love it. One of the most helpful instructions I received was that some of the wool can be removed to make the pillow a little thinner. I rolled the organic cover about halfway down selected the layers I wanted to remove, slid my hand in, separated the layers and pulled it out. Between 2 pillows I could pull out enough to make a 3rd pillow. Now I have 3 great pillows!

Love!
These pillows are great! The wool is excellent quality! I absolutely love that no chemicals were used during the process of cleaning the wool. The inside is super easy to pull out and put back in if you wanted to wash the shell. I plan on buying two more!

Wool is a bit of Heavan!
Always wanted to sleep on a natural fiber.. not man-made synthetic... This wool pillow is just right; warm when cold, cool when hot. No sweat.. perfect temperature! And enough of the material to make two 'lower' pillows. One for me, one for my wife! I like it!!!

What A Pillow!!
I ordered this pillow for many reasons. Wool is breathable, cleanable, the support can be adjusted by your desired amount of stuffing and orthopedically, I needed a pillow with firm support. This pillow fulfills all of that and more. I LOVE it!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

Who knew !
I must admit, being 70 years old, that I have never heard of wool pillows! Just happened to come upon on the internet and after reading about your product thought I would give it a try. So glad I did, this is the best pillow I have slept on in years. Having neck problems I have gone though my share of different types of pillows finally found one that works. I wake up in the morning now without neck discomfort and well rested. Thank you for making these pillows.

One of the best pillows I've ever owned!
I bought this pillow after a lot of research. Wool seemed to be the way to go and I was happy to find a pillow with the organic cotton cover. I liked the fact that CeCe's Wool is a small business that is fairly local to me. The added bonus was the comfort of the pillow. I will definitely be buying more in the near future.

Wool filled pillow
I didn't know what to expect, but I really enjoy the pillow and like the fact it doesn't go flat like the down pillows.
