We love our Jacob sheep and the beautiful fiber they grow. We shear our sheep once a year in March. Our shearer is very gentle and loves shearing our sheep -- he has been shearing our sheep for 20 years. I sort the wool and we make sure the fiber we put into the yarn is soft. Only the best wool fiber ends up getting spun into our yarn. This year Battenkill Fiber spun the wool into a 2-ply DK weight yarn and it's incredibly soft.We love the results and the beautiful dark gray color and we think you will too!
Each skein is a two ply DK weight yarn, 4 oz and 265 yards.
